The light at the end of the tunnel.

Well we got the lines run through the rafters last night at the Tri-Com job. I was actually struck with a bit of an axiety attack while I was up in the rafters. Usually my suicidal streak prevents these from happening. My poor man D-rock was having some problems, but he still managed to help me hold onto the ladder so I didn't come crashing to the earth. We did manage to **ck up a light. That will cost us..:-P

Tonight we should be able to drill the holes we need to feed the line, cut, chrimp, and configure and then TA-DAH its all done.

This weekend is busy, Of course, I have class at the aquarium on Saturday at 11, then I have soccer from 2 to 6 then I have a soccer game at 7 ( my U-16 indoor team ) Then my good friend Ryan's 24th birthday...sniff sniff....getting so old.

Sunday I am back at the renn faire serving beer, so if your in Tampa come on by I will proudly pour ya a brew.

Also today is the last offical day of winter, now the oven that is Tampa is gonna be on pre-heat, I mean we will be entering spring soon.

Ahhh Thursday

Well I didn't do anything extra last night. I should have taken a long hot bath, but instead I just vegged on the couch. It was good. I am still a bit sore from the 2 previous nights but I suppose I'll live. I got a 98 on my speech so my average for the class should be pretty strong with s 100 on my first speech a 98 on my second and a 96 on my mid term. I am such a geek.

City of hero's announced that it will be sending beta invites to the pre-orders on March 22nd and that all pre-orders will be invited by April 7th!!!!

Oh and I hope everyone had a wonderful St. Patty's day yesturday!!!

Another Day.....

Well last night was rough. Went to finish up the Tri-Com job and they friggin wanted the whole thing re-wired. Managed to put several holes in a wall but sadly none long enough to pass the cable's through. Were finishing this beast tonight.

Spring breaks over so its back to school. UGH...I missed class this morning, too tired and sore from last night. I cannot let this happen again.

I did get the photo album up and working mostly to my liking. The pop-up photo option isn't avalible so its good to right click and open link in new window. Or for all you advant browser peeps, MIDDLE CLICK!!!

Forgot to mention, We had the insult guy give doug a tongue lashing at the Renn Faire for his birthday. It was hillarious and terrifing all at the same time.

Works busy today, but it makes time pass faster. I think once this jobs done and the weeks over I will be in good shape for next week. Well I can at least hope.

Renn Faire Fun

Well the Renn Faire was a blast again. It is an easier trip now that its in Tampa. Saturday I went for fun and was joined by Dave, Becky(scorny), Doug(the birthday boy), Ryan, Jenn, Mike Browning, Matt, Melissa, and their pleasant daughter Michaela. Also we ran into Jason(the Saice) and his group. The attempt was to keep us all relativly together but that fell apart right after we entered the park. Jason's group went right, we kinda went left. We both kept expecting to run into one another but we never did..:(

But the important thing is FUN was had by all. I got a hair wrap, and was ragged on for it. But it let me hang skulls and black and red beads from my hair(very pirate-y). Scorny got a new outfit, and we all tried unsuccessfully to get dave into some garb/armor/something!!!

There was a very nice pirate coat that I was admiring but the price tag of 400 dollars was a bit steeper then I think I can really justify paying. Even though they were going to make me a whole new coat with the colors of my choosing and sized to fit me. I just don't think I can do it. But their are many more weeks left in the festival maybe I will see if I can work out a deal. Sadly the woman would not allow any photos..:(

The chess match was entertaining enough, even though we ended up on the french side..:P

My Soccer team Lost saturday night 7-3 the game was much closer then the score reflects. My guys were actually up till about 5 minutes into the second half. Then their keeper went nuts. He was impossible to score on. If you have never seen it Indoor soccer is a lot like hockey. And a good keeper having a good half is wicked. I was trying out a new keeper who did well but needs to relax more. My team as a whole has never played indoor, but now we can get our grove on and relax more. I think we will do quite well.

Sunday I was back at the Renn faire, this time as a volunteer. They were quick at approving my garb, which was a relief (as a MOSI volunteer I have to have all my garb approved for wear). Then I was sent out to work the Seahorse Pub. It was a fine place, with a great crew. Our captain, the lady Cynthia was a good leader. We worked hard and made a few tips for MOSI(all tips made by MOSI volunteers are give to MOSI's special programming as a donation) which is fine I just wish they were more upfront with like a sign or something so that people would feel like they aren't giving the tip to the intended person. Some people took their tips back when they realize it wasn't going to us at the bar. Well the day rolled on and I muddled through it. Its fun to be "STAFF" at the Renn faire, even if I was just a lowly bar keep and not really apart of the whole faire. I gave people drinks and they were happy. I even got a picture with my Pub-mates and a really good Captain Jack Sparrow and his Quartermaster. Photo's will be up soon..:)
