Ahhh Thursday the calm before the storm....

Thursday is quickly becoming my favorite day. There is still time in the week to do stuff but not to much stuff and friday is usually a blast. But like most events, the anticipation is the best part. Also on Thursdays I go to Maggiano's and get the Butternut Squash soup. ITs exceptionally good....I highly recogmend it.

My PC is up and working again....still no BETA invite into CoH.....sigh....now I think they are doing it on purpose...;-P

Oh well.......

HUMP DAY

Well looks like they did another roll out for the City of Heros beta....and guess what, I didn't get it....:( My friend Derek did, not sure about Dan or Ryan. Derek makes it sound incredible.

Guess I am unlucky in love, tables, and beta draws.....although I am pretty lucky in friends, I think that makes it even..:)

A while back my Dad and I were talking about gifts. Like no-one in my family is a super musician, athlete, or exceptionally talented in anyway. We've got enough ability to do well, but none of us are gonna be the next A-rod or Bach. So then he asked what our gift was, and I said, I thought it was the people. For every crappy person that does us wrong there are 10-20 that treat us well. I don't think my Father ever thought of that, cause he got really quiet and then he smiled and just said, you know Mike, you might be right.

Last night I helped another fine person move from one appartment to another. They were good people. Down home good family types, where you just find yourself sitting on the floor listening to stories of days past. I felt kinda bad just moving everything in, they seemed to have no room in their new appartment, even though it was bigger then the last. They are the elders( father and grandmother )of a friend of Walter and Tara(whom I work with in case someone here doesn't know), and we all had as much fun as anyone could have moving furniture, even if it might have cost us some hours of sleep..:)

5 weeks till school is done for this semester. I get to register for my summer classes tommorrow....here's hoping..:)

"To be or not to be"

WOOT a pretty solid Monday

Well it started off kinda crappy, our power went out at 6:30, and I don't mean like a simple hickup or brown out I am talking NOTHING. All lights go bye-bye fan starts spinning to a stop, no power. So I gets myself out of bed and strolled over to the breaker and check it. Its okay, so I go outside, in my boxers, and check the line, its okay. But none of the boxes in my building are on. Were all DEAD.

So I go back in check on my brother and roomate, then I lay back down, setting my cell phone for a wake up call. My cell phone sucks at wake up calls....FAST FORWARD 8:45 power back on, it turning on wakes me up. Oh crud I am super late for my 8:00 class. So I get up call work tell them I am gonna be late, that I am gonna go hunt my professor down to figure out what I missed and get my test. I get to school around 10:00, Slow moving morning, and traffic wasn't helping. I finally find him about 10:15 he has my test ( 97% ) which I knew. One 1/2 of an wrong answer cost me 100% oh well. 2 more tests to get my geek on.

So the prof didn't have my homework either so now I've gotta dig up some classmates and get their notes and homework assignment. LAME. Oh well. So I got into work like 1030. Set up a Baby carriage thing for one of the guy's who just had a baby. ( well his wife did ).

Then MY CAMERA CAME IN!!!! which means I now posses the power to add pictures to my own website....MUHAHAHAHAHAH

Okay Geeking hard....Time to end this
