Well this past weekend was excellent. Friday went to dinner with Becky, Dave, Doug, Matt, and Melissa. It was nice, do not see anything as often as I would like. Saturday, went to the dentist (not really that much fun) but I did learn about the Vole (the dentist has a tv positioned so you can sorta watch it while he works) the vole is like a small guinea pig that can reproduce so often and so fast that 2 voles (man and female of course) and the right mood music can populate and area of no voles to 240,000 in 1 year. Thats a lotta voles!!!
Anyway so I completed the dentist mission and went home, help the Saice move into his new place, which is a building down from me, in the same complex, in fact his place is identical to mine except its upstairs and seems to have superior air condition.
Now I know your thinking this cannot make this weekend great, dentist, moving??? What is the captain thinking.
Well heres the icing.......Saturday night I went to dinner to celebrate Ryan's girlfriend Jens 23rd birthday.....I didn't go alone, I had a date. But not just any date. I had a date with a VERY amazing woman. It was very nice. She is exceptional company. She enjoyed meeting everyone else and everyone else found her quite becoming. We went and saw Cronicles of Riddick. It was good, a bit cheesy at parts, but overall I enjoyed the action, to be fair though I was in some good company which seemed to continually better my mood...:)
After we spent some time talking in my car then went on a 2:00 am, shake run, which started as a frosty run but apparently Wendy's isn't as late night as they claim. So we ended up with some shakes from Steak and Shake (who is never closed)
Then we parted company...But on sunday I discovered I had an email from my wonderful date, which continued to brighten my weekend.
This morning I also discovered that she had called me, sadly I missed her call, because I managed to mis-place my phone..:( but I look forward to speaking with her tonight.
I know I am going a bit overboard here, but it did make my day this morning, minus me cursing myself for not keeping my phone on me.
