Long time no post......
Okay I know I am supposed to have put some Dragon*Con pictures up and I haven't, I know I am a putz. I will try to get them up soon. Maybe scan in some of my scuba pictures as well.
So last night was interesting, had my first test in ASL 2, it went "OKAY" well have to see how the teacher grades. Heres hoping he is very lax, but I don't think he will be. So then on my way home I spoke with the Demko who was like come out to Beer Bellies ya putz, well he didn't say putz because he's too nice but he should have because well I am a putz.
So Anyway I get home, roomate is going out, brother is going out, so then I decide to call my friend Mary, whom I haven't spoken with in a long while. Mary and I Psuedo-dated back in the day, but then she left to become a nun, well she is back and working but she is still planning on returning to the convent. But she is a nice person to talk with, and I needed a bit of positive feedback from a lady.
So then after talking with Mary it was like 9:00 and I still hadn't eaten so I order some food and figured I would be late to BB. Well then this gal Shannon called me. Whom I left a message with. So her and I started talking, (QUICK BACKSTORY) Shannon's aunt goes to a salon where my mother also goes, well I guess they got to talking and my mom mentioned my brother(yes my brother(FYI at the time I was wrapped up with JE)) was single and a teacher, well Shannon is single and a teacher, so they went out on "A" dste. Well Jason thought she was nice but he just didn't "feel" anything, he might be a bit over critical, but whatever. Anyway he decided he did not want to date her. So fast forward a few weeks, my mom is at the salon and they are talking about Shannon, and my mom mentions me being completely avalible again, or something to that effect. So I get the number to call Shannon and I did and left a message....well she called me back last night(END BACKSTORY SORRY ABOUT LYING ABOUT HOW QUICK)
So we start talking and she sounds nice, the situation is rather bizzare but whatever. We decide well go out on a date sometime, not sure where, what, and or when. But its a date. While I am excited by new possibilites it still feels rather Hollow, Everyone who reads this site, knows how hung up I was about JE. But I have tried every mode of communication, email, phone, and letter, but I am ignored. It seems silly how enamered I was with her, maybe its some left over crush thats been set on simmer for 10 years and finally brought to boil. So now it will take a while to cool. Okay I am gonna ditch that subject there.........So after talking with Shannon it was close to 10:00 and I still hadn't eaten my food (couldn't eat while on the phone with her). So I ate and then Dan got back home and that put it at 11:00 So I lived up to my putz designation and missed Beer Bellies...yet again......
